Voice Club is a laryngectomee club dedicated to helping, educating, and supporting laryngectomees,
their families and/or caregivers.
The
club meets on the first Thursday of every month at 1pm. Meetings are held at the Cancer
Support Community of Central New Jersey

In
addition to member support, our members are actively involved in tobacco education. Talking to grammar school and high
school students about the hazards of tobacco. They volunteer at ACS events to help raise awareness
as well as funds to fight the many types of cancers we face today.
We
also work hard to bring area laryngectomees informative one day conferences. We have, since September
2003, had the privledge of organizing four NJ Conferences.The NJ 2003 Laryngectomee Conference, The NJ 2005 Laryngectomee
Conference and The NJ 2007 Laryngectomee Conference. For the 2009 Conference, we worked with other groups
from Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland to create the first ever "Mid-Atlantic Conference" in 2009. We have
just completed the 2011 Conference which was held in Princeton, NJ at the Regency Hyatt Hotel. Photos from past

We
cordially invite laryngectomees, their family, friends, and/or caregivers to attend our meetings. We would also like
to extend an invitation to all professionals in our area, doctors, nurses, slp's police, and fire and rescue workers to attend
our meetings.
